1: Recommandations
The Committee will assist OVC and its Federal, state, local, and Tribal partners with understanding the complex jurisdictional
and cultural issues that affect sexual assault response in Indian Country. The Committee will also provide recommendations
on how existing Federal training resources, funding, and programs can be leveraged to meet the needs of Federal agencies and
Tribal communities, and to enhance their capacity to provide victim-centered assitance to victims of sexual violence in AI/AN
communities.
