The Efficiency and Renewables Advisory Committee was created to augment the efforts of EERE and ensure EERE/DOE supports the
research development and demonstration of transformative energy technologies. Specifically, the Committee was created to provide
advice regarding all aspects of EERE’s policy and programmatic portfolio. The views and opinions of ERAC's expert and representative
members are invaluable to DOE. The knowledge and expertise of the Committee's members are are not available within DOE, and
cannot be provided more cost effectively by any other means.
