The President's Export Council met with President Obama on September 16, 2010. The President spoke about the National Export
Initiative (NEI) and the Administration's goal of doubling exports in five years. The Council deliberated and approved four
letters of recommendation to the President regarding: export control; free trade agreements (FTAs); travel and tourism; and
veterans retraining.
