TIP was created to assist U.S. businesses, institutions of higher education and other organizations to support, promote and accelerate innovation through high-risk, high-reward research in areas of critical national need. Because the TIP Advisory Board is comprised of thought leaders from industry and other organizations, such as institutions of higher education, the Board offers a unique perspective on TIP programs, plans and policies.
