- The Hydrographic Services Review Panel(HSRP) was established to advise the Administrator on matters related to NOAA's Navigation
Services Programs, including, but not limited to, hydrographic surveying and data; nautical charting; water level measurements;
current measurements; and geodetic and geospatial measurements. The Panel supports NOAA's mission to understand and predict
changes in the Earth's environment and to conserve and manage coastal and marine resources to meet the Nation's economic,
social, and environmental needs. The Panel provides advice to strengthen NOAA's ability to support the Nation's commerce with
information for safe, efficient, and environmentally sound transportation. The Panel provides advice and recommendations to
expand and enhance advanced technology monitoring and observing systems, such as weather and oceanographic observations, nowcasts,
hydrographic services, and precise positioning coordinates, to provide accurate and up-to-date information.
