Transforming the IT infrastructure in the defense intelligence community requires changes beyond technology. Historical IT
infrastructure is the basis for current policies and authorities and therefore limits future development of IT. As the defense
intelligence community progresses to meet evolving mission needs and leverages technology, IT policies and authorities must
also evolve to remain relevant and current. Specifically, policy changes are required to build the PCN, support access to
multiple networks, and implement persona-based identity management. DS will:
