DIA seeks to build a management development process that equips employees with the skills and competencies necessary to lead
an integrated Defense Intelligence Enterprise. Based on industry best practices, the Agency’s leadership certificate program
will expose participants to a wide array of organizational and people management subjects. DIA will: • Continue implementation
of a leadership development program to build capabilities at all managerial levels, broaden the applicant pool, and increase
the skill depth of those seeking promotion into leadership positions. • Provide learning and performance improvement opportunities
to supervisory personnel in order to maximize employee performance and retain high performers.
