Other Information:

We will improve Department governance and performance in support of DHS Components delivering mission goals. We will lead efforts within the Department that provide structure to enhance Department-wide governance, decision making and oversight, including internal controls and performance management tracking. We will optimize processes and systems to facilitate integration and coordination. We will foster leadership to perform duties and effect progress while adhering to DHS core values and guiding principles. We will leverage culture to implement best practices that benefit from component commonalities and differences.
