Achieve Effective Control of Our Borders. Other Information:
We will reduce the likelihood that terrorists can enter the United States. We will strengthen our border security and gain
effective control of our borders – at and between the ports, on land, at sea, and in the air. We will defend our homeland
with layers of security. Whenever possible, we will expand our zone of security, managing risks and interdicting threats before
they arrive on our shores. We will make our border security smarter, stronger, and more effective while facilitating legitimate
travel, migration, and continued expansion of commerce.
