Game-changing new systems technologies. DARPA has a long history of developing and demonstrating new systems capabilities that change what is possible. Today's Warfighters rely on systems from aircraft to navigation to communications that trace their roots to earlier DARPA work. Looking ahead, these key capabilities may become vulnerabilities, as sophisticated adversaries also understand how critical they are to our ability to fight. So DARPA seeks to create the next generation of new capabilities that once again change the equation in our favor, faster than others can respond.
