Developing relations with all appropriate EC Directorates General (DGs) by: - strengthening relations with DG Enterprise &
Industry; - developing and maintaining contacts with other DGs with a standardization dimension, for example, Environment
(ENV), Transport and Energy (TREN), Information Society and Media (INFSO), EuropeAid Cooperation Office (AIDCO), Health and
Consumer Protection (SANCO); - ensuring regular personal meetings at all levels; - participating in EC inter-service committees
regrouping all services involved in standardization; - responding to EC documents, in particular those from the Senior Officials
Group on Standardization (SOGS), and consultations.
