h.1: Practice Relevant Research

Establish support, on an ongoing basis, for the development of understanding of the nature and practice of Practice Relevant Research, and for the support of researchers engaged (or seeking to be) in such research, through: i. incorporating PRR training regularly into the calendar of training and development events; for 2007, specifically, launching a series of PRR roadshows and an RDI funded workshop on “Deriving Research Output From Enterprise Activities”; ii. continuing to incorporate a PRR focus into events run at conference or through SIGs or DoRN; for 2008, specifically, incorporating this into the conference theme.
