d.1: Business and Management Research Consultation

Establish BAM as the first port of call for consultation on matters of Business and Management research, through: i. ensuring credible and timely responses to consultation calls, wherever possible using events or other means to allow for the incorporation of members’ views in the response; ii. actively seeking to nominate BAM members for key positions in the ESRC and other bodies and explicitly maintaining communication between members who take such roles and the Executive and Council; iii. proactively providing the ESRC and other bodies with helpful items such as the list of reviewers for the ESRC research grants board; iv. inviting those in appropriate positions from HEFCE/EPSRC/ESRC to Executive meetings on (minimally) an annual basis (minimum) to keep communication and relationship with Executive active; v. compiling a list of organisations with which open and regular communication should be established and why.
