8.1: Public Awareness
Expand ANSI's public awareness campaign to include basic messages about the Institute, the U.S. and global standards systems,
and the value of voluntary consensus standards and conformity assessment, in every contact with the media, ANSI members, constituents
and the general public.

Strategies: 8.1.1 Maintain, or expand as appropriate, the frequency and reach of various ANSI communications to the respective
audiences. 8.1.2 Stimulate the awareness of ANSI, the U.S. and global standardization community, and globally-relevant standards
through news releases, articles, web-based publications and presentations. 8.1.3 Pursue opportunities to place ANSI representatives
on the agendas of events that will build awareness by member and non-member target audiences.
