Restore the capability of veterans with disabilities to the greatest extent possible and improve the qualtiy of their lives
and that of their families.
Other Information:
VA will restore the capability of veterans with disabilities by maximizing the ability of these veterans, including special
veteran populations, and their dependents and survivors to become, to the degree possible, full and productive members of
society through a system of health care, compensation, vocational rehabilitation, life insurance, dependency and indemnity
compensation, and dependents and survivors education. This system of benefits and services is aimed toward the broad outcome
of restoring the individual capabilities of our Nation’s veterans with disabilities.
