Description For a variety of its own reasons not applicable to the Committee, the agency may implement all/most of the recommendations, but few times recommendations are not implemented. At the July 2010 meeting, the Committee recommended 10 proposals for funding to the Secretary of Agriculture. The Secretary of Agriculture reviewed the recommendations, and in consultation with the Secretary of the Interior, funded 9 of the 10 recommended proposals and one additional proposal.
