The largest task the council had to date was the development of a management plan which became the "proposed action" or recommended
action. The management plan was analyzed and finalized through the NEPA process. The Council has identified a couple dozen
different projects over the past couple of years along with program priority setting. The council gave advice on about six
management related matters such as special use permit requests, Three Pools proposed action, and abandoned mine closures.
In 07, the Council developed a monitoring plan that was adopted by the Forest Service. In 08, recommendations were made to
adopt bylaws, abandoned mine closures and new fee at Three Pools. In 09, recommendations were made regarding the adoption
of specific elements in the monitoring plan and road improvements within the SRA. The Council was unable able to meet in 2010
and 2011.
