- The committee provides advice based on the consensus of its members to the Federal Interagency Partnership, established by
Executive Order 13057 to work cooperatively to protect the "extraordinary natural, recreational, and ecological resources
in the Lake Tahoe Region." The advice of the committee is the product of a broad array of local, regional, state, and national
interests concerned with the environmental and economic health of the Lake Tahoe Basin.
