On the African continent, regional cooperation has been strengthened as TI Zimbabwe coordinated a series of five studies (Botswana, Mozambique, Swaziland, Zambia and Zimbabwe) to provide a holistic understanding of where the weaknesses lie in the National Integrity Systems and informing the development of national anti-corruption strategies. Further ground-breaking studies in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, Mauritius and Rwanda round out the regional picture.
