- The committee’s advice and recommendations will relate to SSA’s systems in the area of internet application, customer service,
and the exchange of data between SSA, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and the U.S. Department of Health
and Human Services (HHS) to implement the provisions of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act or any other arena
that would improve the Agency’s ability to serve the American people.
