8.2: Human Resource Management and Diversity/Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Ensure that the Smithsonian workforce is efficient, collaborative, committed, innovative, and diverse. Demonstrate a commitment to diversity and equal employment opportunity during the hiring process and throughout employees’ careers. Other Information: Short-term Human Resource Management and Diversity/EEO goal: Show an improved percentage of women and minorities in the Smithsonian workforce, with a focus on the top 200 positions. Show improvements in percentages of minorities in grades 13 and above.
