    • The Hispanic Council on Federal Employment accomplishes its purpose of advising OPM's Director through Council meetings as well as subgroup meetings on Student Pathways, Accountability and Communications. The Council also accomplishes its purposes by:1) reviewing leading practices in strategic human resources management planning2) providing advice on ways to increase outreach to Hispanic communities and drafting a communications plan to ultimately present to Director Berry 3) reccommending actions to address underrepresentation of Hispanics in the Federal Workforce4) recommending actions to promote retention and advancement efforts including training of department and agency personnel5) Drafting a Student Pathways plan to reach out to Hispanic students through information forums to educate them about how to apply for Federal internships.
