Other Information:

Shared facility infrastructure. Institutes will provide shared facilities to local industry, especially SMEs and startups, with the goal of scaling up laboratory demonstrations and making technologies ready for manufacture. Each IMI will integrate capabilities and facilities required to reduce the cost and risk of commercializing new technologies and to address relevant manufacturing challenges on a production-level scale.
