Provide leadership and services to enable the Federal Government to meet 21st-century challenges. Other Information:
The National Archives is unique among Government agencies – we are charged with preserving and providing access to the records
of all three branches of the U.S. Government. This role requires extensive collaboration with the Federal agencies as well
as providing leadership and services on records management, the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), the Electronic Records
Archives (ERA), The National Declassification Center, and the Federal Register.
