Description There are sometimes a few proposals which were not funded in their entirety, those few being scaled back from their original level of requested funding (allowable under the program). The percentage of partially implemented recommendations has decreased as the number of SACHRP recommendations has risen. Many SACHRP recommendations are currently undergoing consideration, potentially increasing this percentage in the near future. Among partially implemented recommendations are those pertaining to: 45 CFR 46 subpart D, research involving children as subjects; subpart A continuing review, and expedited review categories; and recommendations calling for initial and continuing training of IRB members, IRB staff, and institutional officials.
