Description For a variety of its own reasons not applicable to the Committee, the agency may implement all/most of the recommendations, but few times recommendations are not implemented. Programs have been implemented in the agency: 1)to enhance and improve the education and knowledge of the nursing workforce in providing care to the elderly; 2)to provide financial assistance to nurses desiring to become nursing facutly at a school of nursing; and 3) to educate nursing faculty on new technology (informatics, simulation and telehealth) who will inturn incorporate the newly acquired knowledge in their curriculum.
