Description For a variety of its own reasons not applicable to the Committee, the agency may implement all/most of the recommendations, but few times recommendations are not implemented. The Advisory Group held its first two meetings during FY 2011. In keeping with its mission, the Advisory Group provided advice to the National Prevention, Health Promotion, and Public Health Council (Council) on the National Prevention Strategy recommendations. The National Prevention Strategy was released to the public in June 2011.
