Description There are sometimes a few proposals which were not funded in their entirety, those few being scaled back from their original level of requested funding (allowable under the program). Although not acknowledged in a formal response from the Secretary of Health and Human Services, the Department made a decision to expedite it's H1N1 vaccine effort following recommendations of the NBSB in July 2009. Although not formally acknowledged in the August 2010 ASPR report to the Secretary titled, "The Public Health Emergency Medical Countermeasures Enterprise Review" some aspects of the 02/10/2010 and 03/26/2010 recommendations are reflected.
