Conduct a forum entitled "Our Public Record: Next Generations" at the Government Accountability Office (GAO) on September 24, 2008

The forum was conducted at the Government Accountability Office (GAO). Five issues that were identified for follow up include: 1) The Future of Federal Information Management Governance (An “umbrella” leadership group for all IM associations); 2) A single calendar for all federal information management related events; 3) Legislative Taskforce for suggesting statutory changes; 4) Methodology for putting together regular collaborative training opportunities; and 5) “Casual Brown Bag” professional information sharing. Each of those items has been captured as a potential objective for pursuit by FIRM.
