- The committee accomplishes its purpose by participating in three meetings. At the first meeting members discussed their charge
and agreed upon a data collection strategy. Before the second meeting, committee members contacted various groups of stakeholders
to solicit information about technical assistance needs in the region and suggestions for addressing those needs. Members
brought this information to the second meeting to discuss and begin to prioritize. Before the third meeting members continued
to collect and collate data. At their third and final meeting members shared the additional data collected and began to draft
a summary report of regional needs and ways to address them.
