The Advisory Commmission on Accessible Instructional Materials in Postsecondary Education for Students with Disabilities was
mandated by the Higher Education Opportunity Act (2008) and was charged with the task of studying barriers and improvements
for accessible instructional materials in postsecondary eduation. This Commission supports the Department's effort to address
transition issues for students with disabilities.
