The Advisory Board supports the agency's mission and strategic plan by making recommendations and offering guidance that helps
the Institute align its activities with priorities established by No Child Left Behind and the Workforce Investment Act. In
addition, the Advisory Board helps the Institute staff develop initiatives that will strengthen the use of evidence-based
literacy efforts.
