Description For a variety of its own reasons not applicable to the Committee, the agency may implement all/most of the recommendations, but few times recommendations are not implemented. The initial priority issues have been agreed to by NEMSAC and committees have been established to develop recommendations in ket issue areas, but this effort is not yet completed. Two major projects that were recommended have been awarded by NHTSA in FY2010 (Culture of Safety and Mode of Transport Guidelines). These projects are underway, with continued NEMSAC input.
