There are sometimes a few proposals which were not funded in their entirety, those few being scaled back from their original
level of requested funding (allowable under the program).

Recommendations were noted in the meeting minutes. The Senior Advisor and those in the committee continue to discuss implementation
of the recommendations. Outreach to community colleges has been undertaken, and the Initiative continues to develop various
opportunities for actors in the private sector as well as educational and other institutions to form partnerships that support
the goal of increasing the number and diversifying the composition of American students studying abroad in China.
