Since its recent revitalization in July 2005, FACOSH has forwarded 33 recommendations contained in various subcommittee reports
to the Secretary of Labor for her consideration. Information prior to this date is not available. Therefore, it is not possible
to determine the exact number of recommendations made during the life of the Committee. However, current tracking of subsequent
FACOSH recommendations indicate that the Committee has forwarded significant recommendations to the Secretary of Labor. Most
recently, the reports and recommendations forwarded to the Secretary for her consideration include the June 7, 2011 FACOSH
Training Subcommittee reports. The full Committee voted to accept and forward these three reports to the Secretary: the GS-0018
Safety and Health Management Series Report contained 5 recommendations; the Federal Buildings Personnel Training Act of 2010,
and the Federal Agency Safety and Health Training at All Levels reports contained 1 recommendation each. These three reports
recommended courses of action for the Secretary.
