- The Data User Advisory Committee supports the mission and strategic plan of the Bureau of Labor Statistics by providing advice
on the statistical analysis and use of BLS data from a customer perspective. BLS data must satisfy a number of criteria, including
consistently high statistical quality, accuracy, relevance to current social and economic issues, timeliness in reflecting
today's rapidly changing economic conditions, and impartiality in subject matter and presentation. BLS products must ultimately
be judged by their usefulness to the end user community. DUAC is a significant source of expert opinion on BLS priorities
from a broad range of data users.
