- The Committee will provide advice to OVC and its Federal, state, local, and Tribal partners regarding the complex jurisdictional
and cultural issues surrounding effective sexual assault reponse in Indian Country. The advice provided by the Committee will
assist OVC in ensuring that its strategies, policies, and Intiative goals are responsive to the challenges faced by both those
who respond to victims of sexual assault within AI/AN communities and the victims themselves.
