The purpose of the Council is to advise the Secretary of the Interior, through the Director of the National Park Service,
on matters relating to mitigation of impacts from aircraft overflights at Denali National Park and Preserve. The Council will
develop voluntary measures for assuring the safety of passengers, pilots, and mountaineers and for achieving desired future
resource conditions at Denali National Park and Preserve.
