The RAC provided 7 formal recommendations to BLM in FY 2011, including land use planning comments on the Ironwood Forest National
Monument Proposed Resource Management Plan and the Lower Sonoran Field Office and Sonoran Desert National Monument Draft Resource
Management Plan, and recommendations for one fee proposal for Region 3 of the U.S. Forest Service recreation fee site in Arizona.
They also provided recommendations to the BLM on Public Involvement Protocol for Travel Management Plans. In addition, the
RAC has made recommendations on mitigation measures and issue identification on what the BLM should consider in its development
of a renewable energy footprint on BLM-Arizona public lands and its nexus with water resources. Also, the RAC provided recommendations
on alternative development for the Northern Arizona Proposed Withdrawal Environmental Impact Statement.
