There are sometimes a few proposals which were not funded in their entirety, those few being scaled back from their original
level of requested funding (allowable under the program).

The RAC recommended, through a unanimous motion concerning the new camping rules published in the June 10, 2010, Federal Register
Notice, to maintain the 14-day use limit and change the existing rules from 30 miles to 10 road miles and give the Field Office
Managers the ability to write exceptions as needed. This recommendation was submitted to the BLM Colorado State Director and
it is waiting for a formal review. A subgroup developed an alternative for the Uncompahgre Field Office Resource Management
Plan (RMP) pertaining Wild and Scenic Rivers. The RAC unanimously approved the subgroup's alternative recommendation, thus
providing further guidance into the RMP process. The RAC also provides a number of informal recommendations each year, which
are frequently implemented by individual field managers without reporting back to the RAC.
