The RAC provided three recommendations in FY 2011. The RAC resolved to take on the role of reviewing recreation fee proposals
under the Federal Land Recreation Enhancement Act. The RAC recommended, through a unanimous motion concerning the new camping
rules published in the June 10, 2010, Federal Register Notice, to maintain the 14-day use limit and change the existing rules
from 30 miles to 10 road miles and give the Field Office Managers the ability to write exceptions as needed. The RAC unanimously
approved the Sub-RAC's alternative recommendation for the Uncompahgre Field Office Resource Management Plan (RMP) pertaining
Wild and Scenic Rivers.
