Description For a variety of its own reasons not applicable to the Committee, the agency may implement all/most of the recommendations, but few times recommendations are not implemented. Review Committee recommendations regarding the disposition of culturally unidentifiable human remains generally receive the Secretary's concurrence. Half or more of the recommendations issued following the hearing of a dispute are adopted by the disputants. The Review Committe's recommendation for a GAO audit and report was adopted by the appropriate Congressional Committees, and was completed in FY 2010.
