During its fall meeting (Sept. 30 - Oct 1, 2010), the Council reviewed Federal fisheries regulatory change proposals and provided
9 recommendations for changes to the fisheries harvest regulations. The Council also provided its recommendations on regional
fisheries project needs. During its winter 2011 meeting, the Council appointed 3 RAC members to serve on the Tri-RAC Customary
Trade Subcommittee. The Council heard the Chair's report, reviewed wildlife closures, heard closure policy, reviewed crossover
wildlife closures, reviewed its Charter, heard updates and a report of ground fisheries bycatch in the Bering sea and Aleutian
Islands, heard agency and organization reports. During its fall 2011 meeting, the Council made recommendations on 16 wildlife
proposals, and 14 2012 Fisheries Monitoring Program proposals and made its recommendations to fund all those fisheries projects.
The Council heard updates and reports by Federal, State, and other organizations on the Yukon River and Kuskokwim River salmon
fisheries.
