Description For a variety of its own reasons not applicable to the Committee, the agency may implement all/most of the recommendations, but few times recommendations are not implemented. Of the current 13 recommendation in the Committee's latest report, "Nuclear Energy Policies and Technology for the 21st Century," the Office of Nuclear Energy has implemented 4 of the 13 recommendations (ex: workforce, modeling and simulation, extending fleet operation, and Generation 4 development). In FY11, the Office of Nuclear Energy decided not to move forward with its New Generation Nuclear Reactor program. This decision was partially based on the lastest report from NEAC in FY11.
