Description For a variety of its own reasons not applicable to the Committee, the agency may implement all/most of the recommendations, but few times recommendations are not implemented. Several of the recommendations involved on-going activities the members may not have been fully aware of. For example, one recommendation was to promote renewable hydrogen production through a demonstration project. The DOE has a wind-energy to hydrogen program on-going and is initiating a renewable energy to hydrogen project in Hawaii.
