Since 1968 the High Energy Physics Advisory Panel has issued over 67 reports covering all aspects of the field of High Energy
Physics. At this time we do not have the exact number of separate recommendations that have been made over the years, however,
this task will be researched in 2012. The current year information is as follows: The Office of High Energy Physics has completed
it formal response to the Committee of Visitors (COV) review which took place October 13-15, 2010. The report issued 22 recommendations
on the effectiveness of the management and staff of the High Energy Physic Office on a wide range of issues including: handling
proposals, responding to new initiatives, executing funding actions, and workload balance. Of these, High Energy Physics has
implemented 11 recommendations and 10 are currently in process; one has been declined. The Particle Physics Prioritization
Panel (P5) Subpanel presented its report, on extension of Tevatron running on October 26, 2010. This report contained two
specific recommendations related to the proposed extension of operations for the Fermilab Tevatron Collider. One could not
be implemented due to budgetary constraints but the other recommendation has been implemented.
