The DAU President asked for and received recommendations in three areas during 2011. As the new president of DAU, she shared
her goals for the direction of the university, and asked for general guidance from the board on the university's role in developing
the acquisition workforce. The board chair consolidated input from the board members and forwarded that to the president only.
Reports to the USD (decision maker) assured the USD of the board's confidence that DAU is accomplishing its mission and is
looking ahead to meet the future training needs of the acquisition workforce. The reports also assure that the board stands
ready to continue providing advice on particulars as needed, whether in meetings or in consult.
