- USSTRATCOM's mission has been expanded to establish and provide full-spectrum global strike, coordinated space, information
operations, and combating WMD capabilities to meet both deterrent and decisive national security objectives. Provide operational
space support, integrated missile defense, global C4ISR, and specialized planning expertise to the joint warfighter. The SAG
has adapted to support these new mission areas with the establishment of panels to concentrate expertise in space, global
strike, and information operations. The Stockpile Assessment Team continues to provide advice and recommendations for the
nuclear war planning mission. The Science & Technology, Policy, and Intelligence Panels continue to provide support across
the scope of traditional and new missions.
