- The Naval Research Advisory Committee (NRAC) is a civilian scientific advisory group dedicated solely to providing recommendations
for resolving research and development (R&D) problems for the Secretary of the Navy (SECNAV), the Assistant of the Navy
(Research, Development and Acquisition) [ASN(RD&A)], the Chief of Naval Operations (CNO), the Commandant of the Marine
Corps (CMC) and the Chief of Naval Research (CNR). It support the DON by providing resources to study important and relevant
topics for the Department.
