- The Advisory Panel on Department of Defense (DoD) Capabilities for Support of Civil Authorities After Certain Incidents is
charged by the Congress to carry out an assessment of the capabilities of the DoD to provide support to United States civil
authorities in the event of a chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, or high-yield explosive (CBRNE) incicent. In carrying
out this task, the Advisory Panel's recommendations should help improve the capabilities of the DoD to provide necessary support
to United States civil authorities in the event of a CBRNE incident.
